Background: Originally from the USA, Azriel was turned in 1207 by an unknown sire. He learned the way of the vampire lifestyle quick and has seen many years along with changes. Soon he became a well known vampire and opened the vampire club, The Nexus, for various activities on the undead circut. The most famous being hosting the Human Auction when it comes to town. He and Gwendolyn's main home is in Japan now, but they come to the USA for many business reasons along with checking in on vampires they have made.

Azriel was based off a friend for the short story "The Nexus" I had written. The name was an alias that friend used for games and such.
